FOUNDERS HISTORY

In 1985, the founder, Claus Rosenberg Gotthard was engaged in the sales and export department of a family owned chemical company situated in Denmark. His fascination for the trading field let him to later work for another well known export house where he enriched his trading skills.

The first wholly owned company of the founder of Nova Energia Ltd was set up in 1993 in Denmark under the name of Rosenberg & Gotthard A/S. The Company dealt in Brand Name Consumer Goods across the EU boarders as well as with the trading of Foodstuff in Russia.

By 1997, the founder had engaged himself in Contract Cleaning activities in Russia under the name of Scanclean LLC; the company was one of the pioneers in this emerging field which led to its rapid growth. In 2001 Scanclean LLC (business name MISS) was awarded Small Business of the Year Award by the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia. This award was a great acknowledgment to the development of the company and to its management and employees.

From 1999 up until 2003, the founder also involved himself in distribution of Nilfisk-Advance A/S cleaning appliances in the territory of Moscow. In 2003 the founder sold the business to Nilfisk-Advance A/S.

In 2005, ISS A/S acquired the cleaning activities in Moscow; Claus Rosenberg Gotthard, having released himself from the work and travels to Russia, returned to his old metier of Trading. Through the years the network was kept intact and new interesting contacts were added.

The commitment of the Cyprus Government to reach the target of 13 % Energy arising from Renewable Energy Sources by 2020 led Claus Rosenberg Gotthard in 2009 to establish Nova Energia Ltd. with the purpose of becoming a major player in this for Cyprus new industry.

To be regarded as the leading and most professional provider of Renewable Energy Solutions in Cyprus and to achieve a significant market share becoming no. 1 or 2 in absolute terms of installed Watts in Cyprus for residential and commercial use.
