Claus was born in Denmark (1967), married and has two children. He has been self-employed entrepreneur since the age of 25 where he founded a progressive International Trading company. In 1994 he opened an office in Moscow dealing with various foodstuffs. Entering Russia led to the establishment of one of Russia’s first and largest professional Facility Service companies and later to a company distributing machinery from Nilfisk-Advance A/S acrossRussia.

In 2001 he was awarded `Small Business of the Year` by the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia. Between 2003 and 2005 Claus exited Russia selling the Facility Service Company to ISS A/S of Denmark and the distribution to Nilfsik-Advance A/S of Denmark. In 2005 he established together with a group of investors one of the first Wind parks in Bulgaria.

Nestor was born in Greece (1974). He holds a degree of Electrical Engineering from the University of Southampton, UK and TEI of West Macedonia, Greece. He also has an MSc in Energy Studies from the University of Sheffield, UK and a PhD from Imperial College London on PV-based Solar Home Systems. Nestor has worked as a research assistant in applications of renewable energy, and has an active interest in all aspects of clean energy use and the transition to fossil-free economy. He is a registered member of ETEK and the UK Energy Institute. He is married and has one child.

                   Michalis Papageorgiou

Michalis was born in Cyprus (1982) and finished his studies in the National Technical University of Athens as a mechanical engineer. Michalis worked the last few years for a German company in Hamburg specialised in renewable energy systems, especially photovoltaics. Among others, he has participated in several PV projects in Greece, Germany and Spain. Currently he is based in Greece as part of the strategic expansion of Nova Energia's activities in the Greek PV market. Michalis is a registered member of ETEK.

Demetris was born in Cyprus (1977), is married and has recently become a father. He has obtained an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic Department of theUniversity of Patras, Greece and is also qualified with an MBA from the Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM). Demetris’s environmental aspirations originally led him into the Water and Wastewater Engineering industry which he had served for seven years as a Design and Sales Engineer before he joined Nova Energia Ltd in September 2010. He is a registered member of ETEK since 2003.

                 Charalambos Papadopoulos

Charalambos was born in Greece (1984). He is about to graduate from the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering  of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), where he has submitted a dissertation on Management of R&D projects. Charalambos has worked as a Project manager on robotics’ research programmes (3 years), and he has participated in the International Robotic competition RoboCup in 2008 (Suzhou, china) and in 2009 (Graz, Austria, first among European teams), for which he was awarded the ‘’Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Innovation Award 2009’’. Charalambos has recently completed his internship in Nova Energia working on grid-connected and stand-alone PV systems. He is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI).

                  Elena Nicolaou

Elena was born in the UK (1979). After her studies she began the first part of her working life in the Travel Industry, subsequently working her way up to Customer Service Manager. Craving a more challenging role, she then ventured over into the Administrative world and hence began her administrative role, where she gained valuable skills and experience as a Personal Assistant to Managing Directors. She is now responsible for the organization and administration of this office
